Legal practice areas and Third-party funds
As per the rules of the Dutch Bar Association (NOvA), Micheline Don has registered intellectual property as the principal legal practice area in NOvA’s register.
Under this registration, Micheline Don must obtain 10 training credits per calendar year in the principal legal practice area, in accordance with NOvA standards.
The firm has no facility to receive any third-party funds within the meaning of the Dutch Verordening op de advocatuur. If Archer Law is nevertheless confronted with third-party funds, it will ensure that the funds are either transferred directly to the entitled party in accordance with article 6.19, paragraph 1 of the Verordening op de advocatuur, or that Archer Law joins a third-party funds foundation (and has the funds channelled through this foundation). All rules governing third-party funds then apply. Under no circumstances does Archer Law receive third-party funds in its office account.
